Whitfield Clothing started with a simple idea: that getting dressed shouldn't be complicated. We're a small boutique rooted in the laid-back, unhurried energy of the Pacific Northwest, and everything we carry reflects that. Quality fabrics, pieces that actually fit into your life, and a shopping experience that doesn't feel like a chore.

When you're scrolling through our online store from your couch, we want it to feel easy. No pressure, no overwhelm. Just good clothes and honest advice.

A little about Quinn

Quinn grew up on the West Coast, the kind of childhood spent on rocky beaches and forest trails on Vancouver Island. Her mom was a seamstress and an artist, so from a young age she knew the difference between something made well and something made fast. That stayed with her.

She spent about ten years in corporate fashion before she'd had enough of the churn. New trend, new season, repeat. It started to feel hollow. So she left, took a real chance on herself, and opened Whitfield.

"I didn't want to just sell clothes," she'll tell you. "I wanted the whole thing to feel like walking into a friend's place and raiding her wardrobe in the best possible way. No judgment, just good taste and a good time."

These days, when she's not adding new pieces to the shop or helping a customer figure out what actually works for her, you'll probably find her on a beach walk with her golden retriever or drinking coffee in an oversized cardigan she definitely should have put in the store.

What we're about

Every piece Quinn picks has a purpose. She's looking for things that travel well, layer easily, and don't fall apart after six months. Natural fabrics, cuts that flatter real bodies, and styles that don't scream a specific season. A great linen shirt should work in July and November. A good knit should last you years.

We're not chasing trends. We're building wardrobes.
